Suntech technology was created in 1985 in Peru by Carlos Echecopar, surfer and industrial designer who has always been close to surfing and the ocean. Carlos has always thought that safety at sea is essential and a quick and effective rescue would help minimize risks in water sports. This is how the first Suntech Rescue Sled was manufactured in 2008, meeting the demands of the North American market.
Today, after various innovations with experts in Big Wave Surfing and Rescue, we offer one of the best sleds and rescue boards with unique and patented technology. Our rescue line is manufactured in Peru and is used by various rescue entities in the USA, Panama, Peru, Chile, Spain, Italy and China. In addition, in the USA they are used in Police and Fire Departments, Marine UDT and other SAR Divisions in the world.
